Ella is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) born and raised in the Philippines. She is a Fund Accountant who had migrated processes from abroad, teaching her expertise of NAV Operations, Middle Office, and Managed Accounts Servicing Flows. An advocate of reading, she is one of the moderators of Pinoy Reads Pinoy Books (PRPB), a book club that patronizes all Philippine-published works and celebrates the Filipino experience. As a moderator, she is involved in the Literary Arts and Activities of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).
A long-time book reviewer in Goodreads and in Facebook, her debut Creative Nonfiction was published in CCP’s Ani41 Journal: LAKBAY. Her sophomore published work in Bente-Bente Zine (BBZ) is a collection of epistolary essays, a piece was previously her submission to the 2024 Pasig City Writers Workshop. As the President of an emerging writer’s collective in the city, Adhika ng Giting sa Obra at Sining (AGOS) ng PASIG, she envisions to revive the citywide writing hub and make the community more progressive and inclusive.
In time, she wishes that creative writing can be her retirement career.
